The story
I spent two years doing it the loud way. It didn't work.
My first real affiliate year was all volume and no judgement — scraped lists, borrowed swipe copy, offers I hadn't looked at closely enough. It made money for about five weeks, then stopped, and I couldn't tell you which part had been working.
What changed was narrowing down. One audience I actually understood. One offer I'd have recommended to a friend. One email list I built slowly and wrote to properly. It grew more slowly at first and then didn't stop — because nothing about it depended on a platform's mood.
That's the version I teach now. It's less exciting on day one and considerably better on day four hundred.
What I don't teach
- Buying lists, or emailing people who never asked
- Promoting an offer you haven't used or checked
- Fake scarcity, fake screenshots, fake urgency
- Anything that needs a loophole to keep working
